I had dinner yesterday at “Brown Tomato” in Al-Hamra Mall.The place was crowded and like any other new restaurant there’s always a waiting list We were fortunate enough to wait for approx. 15min which wasn’t that bad

After being seated we had to wait for 10 minutes for our menus and about another 5 to place our order! I know you’re busy but you have like 10 waiters on shift! I mean seriously ?! .. However the staff did apologies and informed us that they’ll try to finish our food as soon as possible Anyway here’s what we ordered .. ( Sorry I never got to write down the name of each dish :/ )

Roca Salad with sun dried tomatoes and parmesan cheese drizzled with a balsamic dressing (RATE: 8/10) next dish  :)

3 Types of chips with a chilli sauce ( RATE: 8/10 )

Fried shrimp on a bed of fried dough with some spicy mayo ( RATE: 7/10 )

Extremely mini burgers ( small as 100fils coin ) with ketchup, mayo and caramelized onions. For some reason almost all of their burgers had ketchup in them. Me NOT being a big fan of ketchup had to scrap it out of each tiny bun before eating ( RATE:6.5/10) so on to the next dish

Finally, for the dessert most of their menu had desserts with either slated caramel or chocolate.Since my friend isn’t a huge fan of salted deserts we went with the classic red velvet cake with a twist [topped with  a white chocolte dome :)] ( RATE: 7.5/10 )

So here’s my OVERALL review ..

The customer’s service was VERY SLOW!

The food was FINE! An overall of 7/10 for me

Would I ever go again? Hmm maybe, but try new dishes
